Hello and welcome to Smart Sussex, the website for sustainable living in Sussex.  There has never been a better time to re-evaluate the way we all live. The traditional media is full of depressing gloominess about our future, yet is still trying to haul our shell shocked and sorry derrières back in the boat of unsustainability. But expansion in the ethical business sector has been growing dramatically over the last 5 years and despite the challenges ahead remains stable and healthy. It would appear that once we make the change to live in balance with our planet, there is no going back. Now is the perfect opportunity to highlight our choices as consumers and Smart Sussex exists to promote businesses that offer ethical, sustainable and preferably local, solutions to our everyday needs.
Smart Sussex is a local Sussex based project aimed at showcasing the best Sussex has to offer as well as ethical brands available nationwide.
We welcome input from individuals, businesses, campaigns groups and charities and as a brand spanking new launch we expect a few gremlins, hiccoughs and technical hitches so please feel free to get involved and help us out.
