 Since time immemorial natural materials have been used in beauty products to enhance our appearance and self esteem. We seek out ranges identifying themselves with plants, flowers and minerals. Sadly not many of the bottles lining the supermarket shelves have much (if any) of their associated ingredients left and are often full of undesirable chemicals and additives designed to increase the visual appeal or shelf life of the product, rather than be of any benefit to our skin.
Thankfully more and more businesses have recognised how important natural ingredients are to an effective beauty regime and it is possible to live ethically, safely and beautifully.
One such business, I Am Natural, has embraced this very ideal and created a gorgeous range of beauty products using fresh organic ingredients. and is also endorsed by both Naturewatch and the Vegan Society as being animal and cruelty free.
Esther Cohen, founder and managing director of I Am Natural, became interested in skin care back in 1993, at the point she chose a Vegan lifestyle. Always frustrated by the high price point of many of the organic and Vegan ranges then available, Esther decided to divert from her career in IT and after 5 years of study and passion, I Am Natural was launched in the spring of 2005.
The range is not only organic; it is also made fresh, in small batches with ingredients only from renewable sources.

As our skin is our largest body organ, absorbing up to 60% of everything applied to it, I Am Natural do not use toxic chemical preservative that might irritate the skin. Instead they rely on the natural preservative effects of organic essential oils and antioxidants. These products are so fresh that Esther advises keeping them in the fridge on hot or humid days in the unlikely event of them
not being used regularly.

The whole company ethos is dedicated to providing top quality products at realistic prices without compromising the planet's future. Recycled, eco friendly and energy efficient products are used throughout the production and marketing process. They use public transport whenever possible and even bank ethically.
